A facility offered by Malahide Credit Union to members is that of “Nomination”.

As a member you can nominate a person or (persons) to become entitled on your death to any property (Shares) that you may have in Malahide Credit Union. If you have not completed a nomination, the proceeds of your account will form part of your estate on your death and will be dealt with under the terms of your will.

The maximum that a member may nominate is €23,000. You may obtain a nomination from the credit union office. You may change your nomination at any time by completing a new nomination form.

Please Note

A marriage will revoke any nomination made prior to the marriage. A nomination is not revocable or variable by the terms of your will or by a codicil to your will. A nomination is automatically revoked when your nominee dies before you.

This facility is provided by Malahide Credit Union free of charge. the nomination form is available at the credit union office.

It is a service that members over 16 should avail of.
