Text Message Scam

The message states that a new payee has been added to your account and asks you to call a phone number if it wasn’t you. ⚠️ This is a scam. Investment Scam Alert

The Irish League of Credit Unions (ILCU) has become aware of an investment scam in circulation, which suggests that the ILCU is offering an investment opportunity to credit union members. The scam claims that the scheme is in partnership with a domestic bank. The ILCU has no involvement in any such scheme and  does not offer any products directly to credit union members. If you are in doubt about any doubt about a message received in relation to your credit union or your credit union account, please contact your local credit union directly.
